I don&#039;t think you can&#039;t have a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony because you are not Chinese.  As far as I know, there is not a rule. I had attended one ceremony and the groom was not Chinese. If I were you, I would try my best to convince them. Good luck!

She has always wanted to have a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony with her family who lives on Guam.
